Back in the 60's Detroit's big three car manufacturers entered the era of the Muscle Car. The Mustang which is largely considered the the first muscle car, was actually preceded by John DeLoreans Pontiac GTO. Delorean circumvented GM's rules for by placing a 389ci (6.4L) engine in a tempest platform creating the GTO in 1963. See pictures and details about some of the world's most coveted cars these days.
